Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology organization. The role involves designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, and implementing advanced software across multiple applications and cloud-native AI platforms.

You will drive technical leadership, mentor team members, and consult with users to determine specifications and workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, and plugins or integrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with large language model APIs and agentic frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced software end-to-end engineering tasks across a system.
• Lead and mentor team members on complex initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and act as SME across applications and technologies.
• Drive planning and execution of large-scale AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with users to determine specs and inform design decisions.
