Senior Technical Recruiter will partner with engineering leadership to create hiring strategies, attract top talent, and drive end-to-end recruitment for critical technical roles in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong track record hiring software engineers, ML engineers, or other highly specialized technical talent.
• Experience recruiting for autonomy, robotics, defense, embedded systems, or Physical AI.
• Strong business partnership skills and the ability to influence stakeholders using data and insights.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex searches in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and hire software and ML engineers.
• Partner with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand hiring needs, team design, and long-term talent strategy.
• Leverage AI and agentic coding tools to drive recruiting workflow automation and increase recruiting productivity.
• Lead structured, high-quality interview processes that assess technical excellence, problem-solving ability, and alignment with Applied’s values.
• Improve and scale recruiting systems, tools, and processes to support efficiency and growth.
• Provide leadership with data-driven insights on funnel health, pass-through rates, and time-to-fill to help problem-solve bottlenecks and support hiring velocity.
• Mentor and enable other recruiters, raising the bar for technical recruiting across the team.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and proliferate a compelling talent brand externally.
