Elio is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to bridge AI research with production software, leading the AI and Data Science team in building scalable, maintainable systems. You will establish best practices, oversee code quality, testing, and deployment, and collaborate with researchers to move prototypes into production.

The role is full-time and on-site at our San Mateo office, requiring 7+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML, expert Python, PyTorch, and cloud/DevOps proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant AI/ML system work.
• Expert Python programming skills and experience with PyTorch and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS; strong CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead software engineering efforts within the AI and Data Science team.
• Design, develop, and maintain production-quality AI infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to turn prototypes into scalable software.
• Establish code quality, architecture, testing, and deployment standards.
• Build data processing, model training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
