Job summary

Surefire Cyber is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AI Software and Ops) to build greenfield Python applications, own critical infrastructure, and ship production software across the full stack. You will work as a full-stack generalist on Python backends, React frontends, AWS, CI/CD, and AI-driven workflows in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will own infrastructure, implement scalable APIs, and contribute to agentic AI initiatives while maintaining security and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a track record of building production systems.
• Full-stack capability across backend (Python, API design, databases) and frontend (React).
• Production-level AWS experience (VPC, EC2/ECS/Lambda, IAM, RDS, S3, Kubernetes).
• Terraform as a primary automation tool.
• GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD at production scale.
