Jefferson Health is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver advanced, scalable software solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and drive innovation through best practices.

The role requires deep expertise in software engineering, cloud platforms, and secure coding. You will contribute to architecture, performance optimization, and guidance across engineering groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Expert proficiency in Java, C#, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript with REST/gRPC.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC tools, and container orchestration.
• Strong security, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and logging knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design complex, scalable systems; review code; maintain docs and diagrams.
• Resolve issues; optimize performance; lead root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Build cloud-native solutions; support CI/CD, automation, containers; infrastr. provisioning & monitoring.
• Apply security best practices; mitigate risks; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions; manage vendor integrations & evaluations.
• Mentor engineers; share expertise; foster collaboration and learning culture.
