Job summary

Jefferson Health seeks an Expert Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver advanced, scalable software. You’ll solve complex problems, optimize system performance, and ensure high code quality while mentoring peers and driving best practices across teams.

You will build cloud-native solutions, support CI/CD and automation, and lead security, reliability, and compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment, partnering with stakeholders to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

• 7 years in software development with distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Expert proficiency in programming languages and API development (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript; REST/gRPC).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data management practices.
• Deep knowledge of security principles, authentication, authorization, and compliance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and logging (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Splunk).
• Strong collaboration, communication, advanced analytical problem solving skills, and ability to mentor and support engineering teams.
