You will lead AI-assisted engineering practices to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and reliability, while ensuring secure coding and robust testing across microservices architecture. The role requires strong Java/Spring, REST, Kafka, and cloud experience, with a focus on scalable systems and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software development experience.
• Experience leading the effective use of AI-assisted development tools with code review, testing, and automation.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Solid computer science fundamentals: algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to solve non-routine problems.
• Drives team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and outcomes, with standardized validation.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge including AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run with relevant systems.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts and ensures design constraints are met by code development.
• Identifies hidden data patterns and uses insights to improve coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contributes to engineering communities of practice and events on new technologies.
