Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI Security Senior Consultant to lead assessments and governance for AI cybersecurity across client environments. You will translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, create risk registers, and guide cross-functional teams through complex AI projects.

The role focuses on governance, risk management, and policy development with opportunities to mentor juniors and contribute to pursuits. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Risk Management.
• 4+ years in cybersecurity or technology consulting with AI/ML experience.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts including model development and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Experience applying AI risk/security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, EU AI Act).
• Experience conducting risk assessments and governance strategy documents.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% on average.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments of AI cybersecurity controls and governance.
• Facilitate workshops with security, risk, data science, legal and business leaders.
• Develop AI risk registers and control frameworks aligned to standards.
• Translate strategy into workstream roadmaps with cross-team coordination.
• Draft governance artifacts, policy templates, and AI security materials.
• Own a workstream, manage milestones, and support client demos and pursuits.
