7AI, Inc. is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead AI cybersecurity defense initiatives, incident response strategy, and security automation at scale across cloud and on-premises environments.

As a senior technical leader, you will shape how security operations leverage AI agents to detect, investigate, and respond to threats, mentor teams, and guide platform strategy while collaborating with customers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/Blue Team or IR roles.
• Strong experience with SOAR platforms and security automation.
• Hands-on Python coding and customer-facing work.
• Deep understanding of modern security operations and enterprise architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead evolution of AI cybersecurity defense including incident response strategies and security automation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research to influence platform roadmap and AI security solutions.
• Work directly with customers to assess security posture and guide their AI transformation journey.
• Build and automate realistic attack simulations, adversary emulation scenarios, and large-scale security environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on security best practices and incident response methodologies.
