Job summary

Snowflake seeks an experienced Senior Security Engineer focused on AI Incident Response. You will lead product-level IR for AI security events and integrate security across Cortex, Cortex Agents, and Snowflake Intelligence.

You’ll craft playbooks, manage IR readiness, and collaborate with cloud teams to secure multi-cloud deployments. You will shape AI security posture, oversee threat modeling, and partner with engineers to embed secure design and automated response into the AI product stack,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience (incident response or security engineering preferred).
• Experience as incident commander for product-focused security incidents.
• Experience leading or building an application security program with AI/ML focus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS security.
• Knowledge of AI threat vectors including prompt injection and model abuse.

Responsibilities

• Lead product-level incident response for AI/security events.
• Embed security requirements from design through deployment for Cortex/AI features.
• Develop AI abuse response playbooks for LLM misuse and adversarial inputs.
• Address tech debt to ensure IR readiness in Cortex and agentic architectures.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, AI platform teams, and customer-facing units.
• Design and manage IR capabilities in Snowflake's AI infra and data pipelines.
• Drive tooling for detection and response at Snowflake scale.
• Deliver measurable security outcomes for Snowflake customers.
