Job summary

Jasper is a remote-capable marketing‑AI platform seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own AI security across infrastructure, platforms, and compliance tooling. You’ll design guardrails for data handling, threat modeling for AI risks, and build automated security checks to enable rapid, safe AI capability deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering with hands-on AI/security, cloud infrastructure security, or GRC.
• Experience securing AI systems (LLM apps, agents, ML pipelines) and familiarity with AI threats.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and vulnerabilities.
• Proactive automation mindset to reduce manual work.
• Experience building security programs from scratch in small teams.
• Hands-on with GCP and AWS security services and IAM models.
• Familiarity with GitHub security controls and secure software supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security design, implementation, and controls for Jasper’s AI infrastructure and AI-powered workflows.
• Own threat modeling for AI-specific risks and design controls for auditing AI outputs.
• Build security tooling and automated checks to accelerate safe adoption of AI capabilities.
• Collaborate across Engineering, GRC, Product, IT, and Legal to shape the Security program.
• Automate evidence collection, control monitoring, and compliance workflows using Vanta or similar.
• Strengthen infrastructure security across GCP and AWS, focusing on IAM and network segmentation.
• Own and improve GitHub security controls, CI/CD security, and SCA policies.
• Tune CSPM/CNAPP tooling (Wiz or equivalent) to identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations.
• Translate security requirements into practical, low-friction engineering solutions.
