Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Security Engineer to build and operate security guardrails for AI/ML in production. You will write and review code, drive secure design, and lead evaluations to adopt scalable security solutions on AWS.

Responsibilities include developing secure production Python code, designing AI/ML security guardrails, and leading third-party security evaluations to ensure reliability and security across cloud workloads.

Qualifications

• Proficiency developing production software in Python or another OO language.
• 5 years of applied software development across the SDLC, from design to operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS workloads and Terraform-based infra.
• Experience delivering security designs for AI/ML workloads in production.
• Ability to lead security product evaluations with vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code (Python) and review others' code.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot security services and guardrails for AI/ML on AWS.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform for repeatable deployments.
• Produce technical designs aligning with security, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead evaluations with third-party vendors, including proofs of concept and benchmarks.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and promote inclusive team culture.
