Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead AI security across enterprise platforms. This highly technical, hands-on role focuses on building reusable security patterns and governance to secure AI lifecycles from data and model development to deployment and operations.

You will mentor teams, define security standards, and collaborate with legal, privacy, and engineering to shape secure, scalable AI solutions at scale. Hybrid, full-time role in the US.

Qualifications

• AI security frameworks: MITRE ATLAS, NIST RMF, ISACA AI Audit Toolkit, and emerging ISO AI security standards.
• AI Technologies: transformer-based NLP, LLM-based AI, and agentic AI knowledge.
• AI Risk Management & Model Security: threat modeling, adversarial defenses, lifecycle security.
• Data Privacy & Protection: PETs, secure data handling patterns, regulatory alignment (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Infrastructure Security: Zero Trust, secure AI pipelines, cloud platform controls.
• Governance & Compliance: policy development, risk indicators, audit support for AI systems.
• Leadership & Collaboration: influence engineering, legal, privacy, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise AI security strategy across model selection, development, and deployment.
• Design and maintain reusable AI security frameworks, reference patterns, and standards.
• Perform hands-on security assessments of AI systems and provide mitigation guidance.
• Drive innovation in AI security techniques and tooling through applied research.
• Apply AI security frameworks to secure the end-to-end AI lifecycle across environments.
• Integrate security controls into infrastructure design patterns with cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide expert design reviews and governance for AI systems and platforms.
• Advise on business cases and investments for AI platforms and capabilities.
