Job summary

Unity is seeking a Staff Security Architect to serve as a senior technical authority for security design across its ecosystem, with a focus on AI-native products and agentic development tools. The role blends hands-on engineering with architectural leadership to ensure secure-by-design outcomes across multiple teams and platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in security with architecture/principal/staff experience on large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI security, including LLM-based products or AI-assisted workflows.
• Practical engineering ability to prototype and extend systems.
• Strong cloud security depth across GCP, AWS, or Azure, including identity and CI/CD security.
• Solid command of secure architecture patterns used by enterprise customers and auditors.
• Clear technical communication across engineers and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Shape security architecture for Unity products and services, mapping risk and guiding secure-by-design outcomes.
• Embed in high-priority launches from design to release, coordinating with ProdSec, SecOps, and IT teams.
• Partner on AI features with vendors to ensure proper controls, data boundaries, and default settings.
• Set security architecture for AI-native products, LLM integrations, and agent workflows.
