Job summary

Unity Technologies is seeking a Staff Security Architect to set secure-by-design architecture for our AI-enabled ecosystem, working across engineering and product teams. You will bridge security with developers, architect two-sided AI security implementations, and help secure Unity’s wide portfolio of engine, editor, cloud, and agent workflows.

You will lead security architecture across AI-native products, integrations, and tooling, while prototyping secure, scalable solutions and guiding teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security with architectural seniority on large-scale systems.
• Demonstrated AI security craftsmanship with LLM-based products or agentic systems.
• Hands-on engineering ability to prototype and extend systems.
• Strong cloud security depth (GCP, AWS, Azure) including identity, workloads, and CI/CD.
• Solid secure-architecture patterns expected by enterprise customers and auditors.
• Clear technical communication across engineers and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Shape security architecture for Unity products and services with engineering teams; map risk and guide secure-by-design outcomes.
• Embed in high-priority launches from design through release; coordinate ProdSec, SecOps, Offensive Security, and Infrastructure Security.
• Partner with IT on AI features across vendor products to ensure proper controls and data boundaries from the start.
• Set security architecture for AI-native products, LLM integrations, agent workflows, and AI-assisted toolchains.
• Contribute to security tooling and integration into developer workflows; prototype ideas hands-on.
• Analyze risk posture and advise leadership on remediation and risk-reduction investments.
• Build secure paved roads for modern engineering practice so security is the default path.
