Job summary

Wonderlic seeks a Senior Research Scientist at the intersection of I-O psychology and machine learning to own the jobs engine and deliver AI-powered job analysis at scale. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to advance models that infer work content from data, ensure defensibility, and expand coverage for thousands of roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in I-O psychology or related field.
• Demonstrated ML engineering experience with shipped, production-grade systems.
• Experience applying NLP methods to behavioral or labor market data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continued development of the Jobs Engine architecture and outputs to scale across thousands of jobs.
• Advise on AI implementation across product teams and organizational contexts.
• Drive scientific rigor to ensure defensibility, fairness, and regulatory compliance in AI products.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to translate science requirements into AI-powered systems.
