Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the NGSIEM Agentic AI team. You will design, build and deploy AI systems that analyze millions of security events per second, prioritizing threats and enabling rapid response.

You will own AI/ML architecture, model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement across teams. You’ll drive innovations in AI-powered discovery, ranking, and autonomous workflows, balancing model quality, user experience, latency and cost while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale AI/ML, search, retrieval, ranking in the cybersecurity space.
• MS, PhD, or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Deep expertise in semantic retrieval, vector search, ranking systems, NLP/LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems.
• Strong understanding of retrieval and ranking trade-offs, experimentation methodologies, model evaluation, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for large-scale retrieval, ranking, vector search, RAG, and anomaly detection systems at enterprise scale.
• Own end-to-end AI/ML architecture including data pipelines, feature engineering, model development, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Define evaluation methodologies, experimentation strategies, and success metrics for product, model and business impact.
• Mentor junior scientists and drive a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
