Job summary

CrowdStrike seeks an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to join the NGSIEM Agentic AI team. You will design, build and deploy AI systems that analyze millions of security events per second, developing models for anomaly detection, event classification, ranking, and automated security reasoning to empower rapid threat response.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale AI/ML, search, retrieval, ranking in the cybersecurity space.
• MS, PhD, or equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, or related field.
• Deep expertise in semantic retrieval, vector search, ranking systems, NLP/LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for retrieval, ranking, vector search, RAG, and anomaly detection at enterprise scale.
• Drive innovation across LLMs, AI-powered discovery, personalization, and autonomous AI workflows.
• Define evaluation methodologies and success metrics to assess product, model, and business impact.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Communicate technical trade-offs and results to technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
