Job summary

Zendesk is seeking an AI Sales Specialist to drive growth of our AI portfolio in the AMER region, collaborating with Core Account Executives to prospect, demo, and close deals while delivering value-driven solutions.

You will own quota attainment, engage in value-based selling, lead AI POCs, and work with the AI Success team to maximize ARR and opportunities across existing and new customers. This hybrid role may require travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
• Focus on Conversational AI solutions or the CX space preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Overlay AE/co-sell experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of sales quotas and exceed targets within the Zendesk territory.
• Collaborate with Core AEs to drive revenue from existing accounts and new business.
• Lead AI POCs and demonstrate value of the Zendesk AI portfolio.
• Partner with AI Success to identify expansion/cross-sell opportunities.
• Provide guidance on usage requirements, forecast AR, and support commercial modeling.
