Job summary

Zendesk seeks an AI Success Strategist to own end-to-end delivery of customers’ AI roadmaps, translating capabilities into business value while aligning cross-functional teams across Product, Services, Sales, and Partners.

You will lead structured discovery, design the long-term AI strategy with executives, and drive adoption to achieve measurable impact, including retention and expansion. This role embraces a hybrid US presence and rewards strong strategic execution.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5+ years of related experience in Customer Success / Experience, 1+ years of AI related experience.
• Previous experience in go-to-customer/GTM roles in enterprise technology / SaaS
• Demonstrated experience in using adoption and health analytics to forecast churn and expansion; surface early risk signals
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees; certifications in AI strategy or project management preferred.
• Experience managing AI or software adoption programs with demonstrated impact on business metrics such as retention or satisfaction.
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing success plans or roadmaps that drive measurable customer outcomes
• Excellent program management and cross-functional influence skills.
• Familiarity with emerging AI trends is a plus
• Ability to distill complex AI concepts for diverse audiences, especially executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of customers’ AI roadmaps and translate capabilities into business value.
• Serve as design authority for AI deployments and coordinate with services, product, and engineering.
• Partner with executives to co-create AI strategy and guide engagement lifecycle.
• Align Product, Services, Sales, Success, and Partners to deliver the AI roadmap.
• Coordinate activities, identify risks early, and assemble required resources.
• Maintain recurring cadence and mutual AI Roadmap for goals and renewal.
• Own the channel strategy for AI dissemination and partner engagement.
• Use data-driven insights to track adoption, revenue retention, and impact.
