• General knowledge of AI and software engineering disciplines.
• Experience securing research funding through competitive proposals.
• Ability to write and win proposals for leading research workshops.
• Ability to attract invitations to give keynote presentations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced AI engineering, software engineering, and data analysis skills.
• Ability to collaborate with researchers, engineers, and external partners.
• Ability to publish research results at leading conferences.

Responsabilités

• Formulate and manage independent test and evaluation programs in AI safety.
• Lead development of research proposals and funding strategy.
• Serve as principal investigator for DSRI programs in AI safety.
• Apply AI/engineering concepts to execute research programs.
• Analyze results and refine technical specifications and objectives.
• Plan and validate testing and evaluation procedures.
• Lead research challenges and improve evaluation tools for the DSRI community.
• Organize workshops at top AI safety conferences to discuss methods and results.
