Job summary

Nubank, a leading digital bank, seeks an experienced AI Risk Manager to shape governance for AI and Agentic AI across our platforms. You will assess models, design guardrails, and work with engineering to implement safe, scalable controls.

This senior role emphasizes AI quality, agentic behavior, and platform governance, with regulatory awareness and cross‑functional collaboration in a global, English‑speaking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in CS, data science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience building or validating AI/ML models.
• Strong Python, SQL, and ML tooling skills.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, prompt engineering, and AI agent frameworks.
• Experience evaluating ML/AI systems, including drift and robustness testing.
• Risk management experience with model risk governance principles.
• Experience working with large datasets and building risk dashboards.
• Strong communication in English and ability to explain AI risk to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously enhance the AI risk management framework for AI and Agentic AI systems, including inventory standards and control design.
• Inventory and map AI use cases to surface gaps and define mitigations.
• Perform independent technical assessments across generative AI and agentic workflows.
• Develop tools, evals, analyses, and playbooks to improve governance and validation.
• Advise stakeholders on AI risk status and maintain cross-functional alignment.
