Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Advanced AI Research Engineer to bridge AI systems research and production platform engineering. You will create prototypes, then deliver production-grade Python services or TypeScript SDK modules, with strong emphasis on observability and scalable architecture.

You will work across design reviews, CI pipelines, and platform integration, mentoring others while exploring agent memory, routing, and long-horizon task autonomy in collaboration with platform teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript in production or research.
• Minimum of 5 years with AI/ML systems such as LLMs, agent frameworks, or retrieval/memory architectures.
• 6+ years across research and production contexts is a plus.
• 3+ years translating research into platform-integrated artefacts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate agentic AI frontiers and research-backed benchmarks.
• Translate findings into production-grade Python/Node.js services and SDKs.
• Design pluggable memory stores, retrieval layers, and routing modules.
• Instrument prototypes with observability and cost metrics for reproducibility.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to integrate capabilities into production systems.
