Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Deputy AI Program Manager in Reston, VA for part-time telework with at least three days in-person weekly. You will lead the corporate AI program within the EPC Transformation organization, guiding use cases from intake to production while aligning with enterprise standards and budgets.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, requiring senior credibility with technical teams and business sponsors. Travel to other offices may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI/ML capabilities into production use.
• Familiar with AI, LLMs, retrieval architectures and safe operations.
• Knowledge of EPC industry or capital projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior AI program governance, scoping and prioritization.
• Maintain roadmap, intake, and value-based demand prioritization.
• Coordinate budget, resources, and objective setting.
• Oversee production services, ownership, and cost/benefit tracking.
• Partner with data platform, cybersecurity, and enterprise apps.
