Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-powered workflows for customers from a remote U.S. base. You will own production AI services across the stack, from data pipelines to UI interfaces used by business users.

You will deploy on AWS with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions). Candidates should have 6+ years in software, 3+ years with production Generative AI, and strong Python/React experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
• Six or more years of software engineering experience with at least three years shipping production Generative AI agents/workflows
• Hands-on experience with Python and React, incl. CI/CD ownership on AWS infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Owns a build stream end-to-end within a pod, from problem shaping to production instrumentation.
• Designs, builds, and operates production Generative AI agents and workflows.
• Develops full-stack software in Python and React, shipping both service and UI used by business users.
• Owns deployment and operation on AWS with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Implements evaluation, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls for AI systems.
