Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production Generative AI workflows and applications. You will own end-to-end streams from problem shaping to production monitoring and governance, collaborating with vendor teams for co-development when needed.

Required hands-on experience with Python, React, AWS, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, plus a background in enterprise-grade security, PHI handling, and reliability practices. A master’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping production Generative AI agents or workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Python and React.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Owns a build stream end to end within a pod: problem shaping, implementation, production operation, and instrumentation.
• Designs, builds, and operates production Generative AI agents, workflows, and applications including orchestration and tool use.
• Develops full-stack software in Python and React for service and UI touchpoints.
• Owns deployment on AWS with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Implements evaluation, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls for AI systems.
