Job summary

Smart Access in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Senior AI Product Manager to drive MCP server and agentic use cases, partnering with the VP of Product on strategy and roadmap. You will write detailed product requirements, prototype AI experiences, and demo with customers across warehouses and DCs.

You will work closely with engineering and design to translate needs into shipped capabilities, define success metrics, and own core platform components.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping enterprise B2B SaaS products.
• At least 1 year of experience as an AI Product Manager owning AI features or agentic workflows.
• Comfortable in customer-facing settings and executive meetings.
• Deep working fluency with Claude and related AI tools.
• Hands-on prototyping ability and strong product judgment.
• Deep understanding of modern AI, LLMs, prompts, and guardrails.
• Experience owning and evolving core product capabilities in a B2B SaaS platform.
• Familiarity with MCP or comparable protocols.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed product requirements for MCP server and agentic use cases.
• Prototype AI experiences using Claude and agentic tools.
• Lead customer discovery interviews and demos; support beta programs and executive briefings.
• Partner with VP of Product on strategy and roadmap; translate needs into specs.
• Define feature-level success metrics and monitor adoption post-launch.
• Own and evolve core components of the Smart Access platform.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and customers to improve platform features.
• Identify opportunities to modernize the platform with AI capabilities.
• Contribute to AI safety and governance design.
