Apple is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own the Applied AI intelligence layer end-to-end, defining strategy and leading a multidisciplinary team across ML, data science, and product engineering (including frontend and iOS). This is a startup-like environment inside Apple with global impact.

You will translate ambiguous priorities into clear plans, build a high-craft product combining intelligence and client experiences, and drive delivery across Store, Shopping, Learning and Decision

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in applied machine learning or large-scale AI systems.
• 5+ years managing high-performing technical teams including managers.
• Proven track record leading AI-powered products at global scale.
• Experience presenting strategy to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for the Applied AI intelligence layer.
• Own end-to-end product architecture spanning intelligence and client surfaces.
• Translate AI strategy into reusable capabilities across 38+ locales.
• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team across ML, data science, and product engineering.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
