Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the mobile-first, AI-native candidate experience for Amazon Connect Talent. You will drive end-to-end design across product, engineering, and data science, shaping how interview experiences adapt and how trust is earned.

In this remote-enabled role, you will mentor designers, define durable interaction standards, and collaborate with partner teams to steer product decisions with data-driven arguments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of design experience and a track record delivering AI-enabled products.
• Experience leading design concepts through exploration, development, and deployment.
• Experience partnering with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to ship scalable products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for mobile-first, AI-native candidate experience for Amazon Connect Talent.
• Co-own AI behavior with engineering and data science, including adaptive interviewing and graceful failure handling.
• Design for high-volume interviewing on candidates' devices, treating that environment as the primary constraint.
• Build AI-coded prototypes to address questions and align teams.
• Define when AI-generated work is acceptable vs hand-crafted and raise AI fluency.
