Job summary

MaintainX, now part of Autodesk, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead AI-first product experiences across web and mobile for frontline teams. You will partner with PMs, engineers, and other designers to transform complex workflows into simple tools for maintenance technicians and facility managers.

You will shape design systems, craft high-quality interactions, and communicate design intent across executive stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on typography, layout, color and motion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features such as natural language interfaces, agents, and predictive insights.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills with typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion.
• Systems thinker who builds for reuse and scales design decisions across a product.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to articulate design intent and influence peers.
• Expert level of English, written and spoken, for cross-team collaboration and executive reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for AI-powered product surfaces across web and mobile.
• Design AI-powered experiences for frontline users like maintenance technicians and facility managers.
• Translate ambiguous AI problems into clear, testable design solutions with product and engineering.
• Think in systems; contribute to the design system with focus on consistency and craft.
• Present work with rationale, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and maintain quality across lifecycle.
• Use AI tools to accelerate design and raise output quality.
