Job summary

ShipBob is hiring a Senior AI Product Builder to lead end-to-end development of AI-augmented product discovery, specs, prototypes, and production PRs. You will own the product catalog and PIX data surface, ensuring data quality and channel synchronization for merchants.

You will work in an AI-native pod with engineers, use tools like Claude Code and Driver.ai, and demonstrate measurable outcomes. Remote-friendly role within the ShipBob platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management, product engineering, or equivalent experience with hands-on AI tool usage.
• Proven ability to write story/specs that AI tools can act on directly — state machines, business rules, data contracts.
• Technical fluency: read a data model, evaluate an API contract, and identify deviations in AI-generated code.
• Track record of shipping working prototypes or production code, not just designs.
• Experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, or ecommerce tech.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product loop: discovery → specs → prototype → production PR → outcome.
• Own catalog and inventory data surface end-to-end: SKUs, variants, bundles, lots, channel sync.
• Run customer discovery; synthesize research with AI tools across tickets, interviews, data.
• Demo to merchants/partners; understand competitive differentiators and architecture fit.
• Set experiment hypotheses with kill thresholds; day-7 rollout decisions based on data.
• Collaborate on architecture reviews; advise on build-vs-buy-vs-defer in the room.
