Job summary

Valley Bank in the United States seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to design and build secure modern applications for commercial and consumer banking. You will leverage AI-assisted development and integrate with cloud and data platforms across the full software lifecycle.

Responsibilities include creating responsive UIs with React or Angular, building server-side logic in C#/.NET and Python, and ensuring robust CI/CD with the Cloud Infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• AI tooling mastery with Cursor, Claude, or Copilot to support full development lifecycle.
• Proven prompt engineering and structured interaction patterns to produce reliable code.
• Strong command of C#/.NET and Python for backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, caching, and pub-sub architectures.
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS; Docker and Kubernetes required.
• Git/GitHub proficiency for version control.
• Financial services domain experience preferred (banking, payments).
• Doer mindset: move on clarity rather than waiting for absolute certainty.

Responsibilities

• Use AI to accelerate design, implementation, and documentation for banking capabilities.
• Design and build responsive UIs with React/Angular.
• Develop server-side logic, integrations, and microservices/APIs in C#/.NET and Python.
• Manage end-to-end software processes including CI/CD and deployment with Cloud/TechOps teams.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software for speed, scalability, and security.
