Job summary

IMO Health is seeking an experienced software engineer to own and evolve internal platforms and AI-enabled workflows in a production environment. You will build and maintain integrations across internal apps, APIs, and AI services, while ensuring reliability and scalable automation.

You will collaborate with clinical, data science, product, and engineering teams to implement secure, auditable systems and drive live deployments on AWS.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in software engineering, backend/platform/DevOps or related roles.
• Strong Python and production services experience.
• Experience deploying cloud-based apps in AWS.
• Experience with AI-enabled apps using Bedrock, LLM APIs, RAG, or related tech.
• CI/CD, Git workflows, automated testing, release practices.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance internal platforms and tooling for terminology management, content creation, mapping, workflow automation, and delivery.
• Build integrations across internal apps, APIs, knowledge bases, databases, and AI services.
• Contribute to design and deployment of automation and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Own production support for AI-enabled apps, including incident response and releases.
• Manage deployments, infrastructure config, monitoring, and alerting for AWS-hosted services.
• Investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable reliability improvements.
• Support AI-powered workflows as they scale from pilots to production.
