Job summary

Assort Health is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing infrastructure and platform team responsible for AI-powered patient-facing agents and supporting platforms. You will own core foundations, observability, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and cross-cutting systems that enable engineering pods to ship faster and more reliably.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in an engineering manager role.
Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams in fast-moving environments.
Strong fundamentals and ability to design, build, and scale production-grade infrastructure or platform systems.
Experience with distributed systems, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, observability, or SRE practices.

Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure and platform teams, including hiring and coaching.
Build and scale platform systems powering AI agents and workflows.
Own cross-cutting systems spanning multiple product teams for reliability.
Drive technical decisions on GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes, monitoring, and data infra.
Partner with product engineering teams to unblock them and improve velocity.
Design and ship internal tools and automation to boost productivity.
Operate with autonomy to balance reliability, cost, and developer experience.
