Job summary

Extended Care Specialists INC seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain custom applications, automations, and integrations supporting clinical, operational, and corporate functions. You will work with AI-assisted tools to accelerate development while ensuring secure, scalable production-ready solutions.

Role involves building microservices, APIs, dashboards (Power BI), and collaborating with Data & Analytics teams to align technology with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2-5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with Python or another modern programming language and AI-assisted development platforms.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, software development, cloud technologies or related disciplines are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build custom software, internal tools, workflow automations, microservices, and integrations that improve business operations.
• Translate architectural designs, business requirements, and workflow needs into reliable production-ready solutions.
• Design, prototype, and validate technical solutions and proofs of concept.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, healthcare system APIs, and third‑party platforms.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational objectives.
• Maintain and enhance existing production systems, applications, automations, integrations, and microservices.
