Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a seasoned Product Leader to own the Agentic AI platform, driving vision and backlog with executives and engineering teams. You will guide cross-functional efforts to deliver AI-enabled CX improvements and maintain strong alignment with business goals.

The role requires deep expertise in AI product management, Jira workflows, and Agile practices, with a focus on scalable, compliant AI tooling for customer support workflows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management/Ownership, with 5+ years in senior roles.
• Proven shipping of Generative AI/LLM/ML products.
• Expert ability to write crystal-clear user stories for backend/AI engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision for the Agentic AI tooling.
• Partner with CX leadership to resolve friction in customer journeys with AI capabilities.
• Establish KPIs for the AI platform and link to CX metrics.
• Own the platform backlog in Jira and break down initiatives into Epics and User Stories.
• Track dependencies and forecast delivery using Advanced Roadmaps and Jira dashboards.
• Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria for non-deterministic AI features.
• Collaborate daily with AI engineers, data scientists, and backend engineers on architecture.
• Prioritize guardrails, compliance checks, and PII redaction in the tool.
• Drive tooling for human CX agents to take over from AI and provide feedback.
• Mentor junior/mid-level Product Owners in the CX org.
