Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Engineer for the Gen AI Platform Services: Agentic AI, Guardrails, and Evaluation. You will lead the architecture and deployment of AI-powered capabilities, partner with engineers, researchers, and PMs, and drive responsible AI governance and observability.

You will mentor teams, shape the technical vision for foundational AI systems, and ensure scalable, production‑ready solutions across multiple locations including San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/AI/EE with required years of AI/ML experience.
• Experience leading an engineering team and delivering production AI systems.

Responsibilities
