Capital One is hiring a Sr. Manager, AI Engineer to lead AI Platform Services including Agentic AI, Guardrails, and Evaluation. You will partner with engineers, researchers, and PMs to deliver AI-powered products and oversee model training, inference, and observability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related fields with 6+ years of AI/ML exp, or a Master's with 4+ years.
At least 1 year of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional team to deliver AI-powered products and improve interactions.
Oversee design, development, testing, deployment and support of AI software components.
Lead build-vs-buy decisions across Open Source and SaaS AI tech and optimize foundation models.
Contribute to technical vision and roadmaps for foundational AI systems.
