Job summary

Teradata seeks a Senior Manager – AI Platform to lead development of our autonomous, AI-driven platform powering agents at scale. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists, ensuring production-readiness and seamless integration with LLMs.

This role blends strategic execution with hands-on leadership across cloud-native services, memory, planning, and multi-agent workflows to enable scalable AI-powered enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software/platform engineering or data science with 3+ years in engineering management.
• Proven experience scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production.
• Strong backend, APIs, infrastructure, or platform architecture background.
• Hands-on AI/ML platforms, LLM integrations, and data science deployment.
• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, feature stores, and end-to-end data science pipelines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Platform engineering and data science roadmap.
• Define requirements for predictive modeling, memory, planning, multi-agent collaboration, tool orchestration.
• Design and implement core platform services including API gateways and vector store integrations.
• Oversee integrations with third-party tools and data science services.
• Mentor a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists.
• Ensure platform reliability, observability, and security.
• Align platform capabilities with evolving AI product needs.
• Advise on long-term strategy for agentic workflows.
