Job summary

Teradata Corporation (SE) is seeking a Senior Manager – AI Platform to lead the development and evolution of our next-generation platform powering autonomous, AI-driven agents. This role combines data science expertise with technical depth to scale a distributed system enabling reasoning, planning, memory, and tool use at runtime.

You will drive product and data science strategy, oversee a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists, collaborate with AI/ML research and product teams,

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software/platform engineering or data science.
• 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership overseeing AI initiatives.
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML platforms, LLM integrations, and data science methodologies.
• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and feature stores in production environments.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform with scalable architecture.
• Define requirements for capabilities such as predictive modeling, memory, planning, and multi-agent collaboration.
• Design and implement core platform services including API gateways, vector store integrations, and RAG pipelines.
• Oversee integrations with third-party tools and data science services to enable scalable agent execution.
• Guide cloud-native development, observability, security, and reliability practices across the team.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists.
