Job summary

ISACA is seeking an AI/ML Lead to join its first internal AI implementation team. You will write production code, build data and retrieval pipelines, and operationalize AI practices to deliver the member‑facing AI experience.

You will work with platform governance to deliver scalable, secure AI solutions, mentor engineers, and progressively insource vendor work to ISACA. This is a senior, hands‑on engineering role with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of professional software, data, or application development experience, including 2+ years of hands-on AI in production environments.
• Production delivery of LLM-powered or AI solutions in cloud environments (Azure strongly preferred or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python and LLM application frameworks; working knowledge of evaluation frameworks and prompt versioning.
• Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, embedding-based retrieval, and vector databases.
• Foundational MLOps and LLMOps: CI/CD for ML/LLM, containerized deployment, monitoring, drift detection, cost tracking.
• Strong stakeholder communication and ability to translate architecture decisions for non-technical audiences.
• Masters degree and 10+ years of experience are preferred for senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering for development, integration, and production delivery of ISACA's AI solutions.
• Build and maintain core AI components including knowledge graph ontology and pipelines.
• Implement APIs and service contracts connecting AI capabilities to ISACA's digital experiences.
• Lead vendor engagement and drive internal ownership of key AI components.
• Establish and enforce MLOps/LLMOps practices, including CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and security controls.
• Build data pipelines from CRM and other data sources; ensure data quality and contracts.
• Mentor engineers and contractors, help grow the internal team, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Evaluate new AI tools and architectures to support platform decisions.
