Job summary

EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to build and operate EY’s AI-native platform substrate. You’ll own the infrastructure and cloud-native layers from bare-metal to Kubernetes, across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air-gapped targets, enabling Agentic AI capabilities with reliable, portable foundations.

You’ll lead platform engineering for compute, scheduling, multi-tenancy, and compliance, collaborating with security, architecture, and delivery teams in a hybrid, global model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on systems depth with Kubernetes distributions and full lifecycle management.
• Experience across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform across compute, K8s, and multi-tenancy.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.
• Deliver foundational platform capabilities to enable downstream runtimes.
• Manage backup, DR, and cross-environment replication for high availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC for reproducible environments.
