Job summary

EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to build and operate EY’s foundational substrate for its AI-native platform. You’ll manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets, ensuring reliability, portability, and security for regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and large Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management.
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes, and multi-tenancy.
• Manage infrastructure foundations across bare-metal, GPUs, and NVAIE components.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Deliver platform capabilities to enable safe and portable downstream runtimes.
• Own backup, disaster recovery, and cross-environment replication for high availability.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, GitOps, and IaC to ensure reproducibility.
