Job summary

EY seeks an AI Systems Engineer to build and operate the substrate for EY’s AI-native platform. You’ll own the cloud-native stack and Kubernetes across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets, enabling reliable, portable AI workflows and trusted deployments.

You will lead infrastructure foundations, multi‑tenancy, and secure execution, collaborating with security, architecture, and product teams to deliver scalable, regulated-ready platforms that accelerate downstream AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s) and full lifecycle management.
• Experience across bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem and air-gapped deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes and scheduling, multi-tenancy and distributed compute.
• Stand up and manage EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem AI Factory, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Deliver foundational platform capabilities to support downstream runtime and services.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling and multi-tenancy boundaries.
• Ensure isolated, secure model execution with sandboxed environments.
