Job summary

EY seeks AI Systems Engineers to build and operate the foundational substrate powering EY’s AI-native platform. You will own the cloud-native platform, Kubernetes, and multi-tenant scaling across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets to enable EY Agentic AI capabilities.

You will drive platform reliability, portability, and velocity while collaborating with security, architecture, and product teams in a hybrid-client setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s).
• Experience across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Deep networking, storage, and multi-tenancy experience.
• GPU infrastructure and scheduling familiarity.
• Proficiency with IaC and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record in regulated environments and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform and oversee compute, Kubernetes, and multi-tenancy for Operator workflows.
• Manage infrastructure foundations (Ubuntu, bare-metal, GPU, DPU) to be production-ready.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across multiple targets (cloud, on-prem, edge, air-gapped).
• Deliver platform capabilities enabling downstream runtimes to run safely and consistently.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling, and tenancy boundaries.
• Oversee secure execution and inference with sandboxed environments for model execution.
• Coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps for reproducibility.
• Ensure cross-environment backup, DR, and platform hygiene.
