Job summary

Eames Consulting Group seeks a Senior AI Platform Engineer to drive AI initiatives from prototype to production within a technology‑driven insurance/insurtech space. You will collaborate with engineering, platform architecture, DevOps, and compliance to translate AI strategy into scalable, reliable production solutions.

Responsibilities include building AI agents, designing reusable components, and integrating LLMs into workflows with emphasis on RAG pipelines, observability, and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on with implementing AI solutions in production.
• Experience integrating LLMs into applications or platforms.
• Strong prompt engineering and AI evaluation skills.
• Experience building AI agents or workflows.
• Experience with vector databases and API orchestration.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG solutions.
• Strong systems-thinking and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy production‑grade AI agents and AI‑powered services.
• Design reusable AI components, workflows, and reference implementations.
• Prototype new AI use cases and take concepts into production.
• Integrate LLMs into production applications and workflows.
• Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Build AI workflows and agent‑based solutions using orchestration platforms.
• Develop prompt management, versioning, and evaluation capabilities.
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance of AI applications.
• Establish monitoring and cost‑tracking practices for AI systems.
• Work with development teams to support AI‑driven initiatives.
• Partner with DevOps on AI workflow environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and compliance to establish scalable AI patterns.
