Job summary

Kharon in New York City is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for the AI Platform to design, build, and ship production AI applications. You will work in a fast, agile environment focusing on Model Context Protocol, multi-agent frameworks, and cloud deployments.

You'll collaborate with product, design, engineering, and data science teams to translate complex problems into scalable AI systems, and ensure robust monitoring and ethics compliance in deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/Engineering or related field
• Strong software development in Python and AI tooling (Langchain/Langgraph, Agent SDKs)
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment (AWS)
• Proven ability to ship production ML/AI systems within fast iteration cycles

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship proof-of-concept AI applications in fast, agile cycles
• Build and integrate AI components including Model Context Protocol clients/servers and multi-agent frameworks
• Architect data flows, write production-grade code, containerize services, deploy securely on AWS
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and data science teams
• Develop production-grade data pipelines to connect data with AI systems
• Maintain internal tools, CI/CD scripts, evaluation harnesses, dashboards, and secure sandboxes
• Ensure AI systems are monitored, explainable, and aligned with ethics and regulations
• Stay informed on AI/ML advances and share best practices across the team
