Job summary

Nuuly is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build and evolve the AI-powered development harness used by Product, UX, and Engineering. You will own the harness across product definition, UX, design, coding, and testing, ensuring traceability and reliability as work moves between teams and into engineering.

You will design and maintain agent instructions, validators, and lifecycle rules, partnering with stakeholders to advance shared standards and improve the harness over time through feedback.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software or internal developer platforms.
• Experience designing agent instructions, prompt systems, or LLM-backed workflows.
• Experience with artifact-lifecycle systems integrating AI in the development lifecycle.
• Experience deploying AI agents in production, including architectures and orchestration patterns.
• Interest in testing, evaluation datasets, and observability for AI workflows.
• Experience designing structured data contracts (JSON Schema, YAML, etc.).
• Ability to translate between product/UX/engineering teams and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the artifact lifecycle system governing AI-assisted work stages.
• Design schemas and traceability standards linking requirements, use cases, and implementation.
• Author and maintain AI agent instructions and skills with genuine prompt/agent design.
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate development lifecycle steps.
• Write automation (Python/Bash) enforcing schema and quality gates.
• Measure AI output quality and build feedback loops to improve the system.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering on shared standards and handoffs.
