Chime Financial, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the AI Enablement team to build internal platforms, primitives, and guardrails that serve as trusted AI co-pilots for employees.

You’ll work on Archimedes, Bosun, and easyRAG powering internal AI assistants, developer workflows, and retrieval-backed apps, shaping golden path patterns for safe, scalable AI usage. Location-flexible remote role with base salary $164,000–$227,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems or internal developer tools.
• Hands-on with LLMs or ML services and production features.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve internal AI platforms enabling LLM-powered apps.
• Design reusable platform capabilities: APIs, SDKs, templates, services.
• Prototype and productionize new AI capabilities and patterns.
• Define golden path patterns for LLM usage balancing speed, safety, cost.
• Develop systems to launch AI-powered assistants and workflows.
• Establish evaluation, observability, and cost-management practices.
