Job summary

Chime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Enablement team, building internal platforms, primitives, and guardrails to make AI a trusted co-pilot for employees. You will work on Archimedes, Bosun, and easyRAG, powering internal assistants, developer workflows, and retrieval-backed apps across the company.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a software engineer building distributed systems, platform services, or internal developer tools.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or ML services and shipping production-quality features.
• Ability to design reusable primitives, contracts, and paved roads for internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve internal AI platforms and guardrails to enable safe, scalable AI across the company.
• Design reusable platform capabilities: APIs, SDKs, templates, and shared services.
• Prototype and productionize new AI capabilities and establish durable patterns.
• Define golden path patterns for LLM usage balancing velocity with safety and cost.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, Legal, and product teams to implement guardrails.
